Clifton Lambreth
Clifton Peter Lambreth has worked for the Ford Motor Company for over 25 years in a variety of positions. He has been a rainmaker at every position he has held. He has consistently been a top performer throughout his career at Ford having received prestigious awards and distinctions including five Ford Inuksuk Drive for Leaders Awards. He has also won three Diversity Leadership awards. Mr. Lambreth was one of a very few people at Ford worldwide to receive the 2008 Ford Leadership Award.
Clifton was a Ford college recruiter for over 10 years at Cornell University, University of Pennsylvania, Johnson Business School and Wharton Business School. He graduated from Thomasville Senior High School in North Carolina having been a proud alumnus of the North Carolina Baptist Children’s Mills Home. He went on to receive his BSBA in Marketing and Management and his MBA from Western Carolina University.
He serves on the Board of Directors of the Family Foundation Fund, on the Executive Advisory Board of Lead like Jesus Foundation, Western Carolina’s Alumni Board and on the Advisory Board for Western Carolina University’s School of Business.
He is CEO of Daniel Bradley Matthews, Inc., providers of strategic automotive, business and marketing consulting. Mr. Lambreth also serves as an adviser to six different private businesses. He was the associate producer of the weekly RFD TV show “Music and Motors” for 3 seasons.
As a sought-after business, marketing and automotive industry sector specialist, television personality and published author, Clifton Lambreth has authored and published various main media articles on diversity, compensation, leadership issues and other such hot topics. He has been quoted in over 500 different media sources.
Clifton also tours the nation speaking to various business and community organizations. He was the star of a recent television show, The CEO Café. Mr. Lambreth has given speeches to over 100 groups on motivation and success principles. He has also conducted numerous radio show interviews. He has been on NBC, CBS, ABC and Fox TV discussing a variety of business topics.
His first book, Ford and the American Dream: Founded on Right Decisions, has been translated into Russian. A book tour is planned for Russia early in 2010. A movie inspired by the book is underway for 2010 as well.
He also enjoys running and racing, and has run the Marine Corps Marathon, Philadelphia Marathon and the Boston Marathon. He competed in over 200 different 5K /10K races. Clifton has three sons and lives with his wife Susan and family in Brentwood, Tennessee.
